RINDGE, N.H. (April 1, 2011) -- Former Franklin Pierce University men's soccer standout Frantz Francois scored a goal for River Plate Puerto Rico in his professional debut back on March 18 in George Town, Cayman Islands. The goal was part of River Plate's 2-0 win over Cayman Islands' Bodden Town.

(February 4, 2011) -- The defending Northeast-10 Conference champion Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team is coming off a thrilling 2010 season, and is already looking forward to the 2011 season, which will begin in early September. However, prior to the fall season, the Ravens will gear up with an exciting spring schedule which will feature several top Division I & II programs.

(December 13, 2010) – Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer standouts Tom Reilly (Wallasey, England), Paul Latif (Newcastle, England) and Diego Tabares (Seekonk, Mass.) on Monday were named 2010 NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-Americans. Reilly was placed on the first-team, while Latif and Tabares were named to the second and third-teams, respectively.

(December 13, 2010) – Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer head coach Craig Stewart was recently named the 2010 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Mondo East Region Coach of the Year after guiding the Ravens to one of the best seasons in program history. It marked the second coach-of-the-year award for Stewart in 2010, as he earned the same honor from the Northeast-10 Conference back in November.

(December 2, 2010) -- Five members of the 2010 Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team garnered Daktronics Division II All-America honors on Thursday, as announced by the organization in conjunction with AthleticSite.com(.) The five Ravens to earn recognition, included junior back Tom Reilly (Wallasey, England), who was named a First-Team All-American. A trio of Ravens earned third-team honors, including junior goalkeeper Vinny Papageorgiou (Wilmington, Mass.), junior midfielder Paul Latif (Newcastle, England) and junior forward Diego Tabares (Seekonk, Mass.). Senior back Shaliek Dawkins (Kingston, Jamaica) earned honorable-mention honors.

(November 29, 2010) -- Franklin Pierce University men's soccer standouts Shaliek Dawkins (Kingston, Jamaica), Jeff Hay (Dudley, Mass.) and Shaun Taylor (Isle of White, England) participated in the 2010 New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) All-Star Game on Nov. 28 at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. All three players recently completed their final year of eligibility with the Ravens' program.

(November 20, 2010) -- The No. 1-nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team's amazing 2010 season came to a tough end on Saturday night in the NCAA Division II Quarterfinals as the Ravens dropped a 1-0 decision to Dowling at Sodexo Field in Rindge. Franklin Pierce concluded its season with a 17-2-2 record, while Dowling improved to 12-1-6 and advanced to the Final Four in Louisville, Ky. on Dec. 2.

(November 13, 2010) – The No. 1-nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer team played Southern New Hampshire to a 1-1 draw Saturday night in the second round of the 2010 NCAA Division II Tournament, but advanced to the national quarterfinals via penalty kicks (4-1) at Sodexo Field in Rindge. The Ravens moved to 17-1-2 and ran their unbeaten streak to 17-consecutive matches (15-0-2). It also marks the program’s first trip the NCAA quarterfinals since 2007.

(November 8, 2010) -- The No. 1-nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University men's soccer team on Monday night earned the top-seed in Super Region 1 of the 2010 NCAA Division II Tournament. By earning the top seed, the Ravens received a first-round bye and will have home-field advantage throughout the regional. Franklin Pierce (17-1-1) will face the winner of Thursday's first-round match between fourth-seeded Southern New Hampshire (11-3-4) and fifth-seeded Bloomfield (15-4-1).

(November 7, 2010) – The No. 1-nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer team claimed the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday via a thrilling 1-0 victory over Bentley at Sodexo Field in Rindge. The Ravens ran their overall record to 17-1-1 and their unbeaten streak to 16-consecutive matches. Bentley fell to 11-3-6.

(November 5, 2010) – The No. 1-nationally ranked Franklin Pierce University men’s soccer team defeated Le Moyne, 1-0, on Friday afternoon in the Northeast-10 Semifinals, and in the process, punched its ticket to the 2010 conference championship match on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. in Sodexo Field. The Ravens (16-1-1), who ran their unbeaten streak to 15-consecutive matches, will take on Bentley in the title game on Sunday.

It marks the second major accolade for Goncalves this week, as on Monday, he was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second-Team.
