Cross Country Programs Combine to Boast Five USTFCCCA All-Academic Selections

RINDGE, N.H. (February 11, 2015) – Freshman Natalie Davies (Ware, Mass.), junior Shannon Lozier (Merrimac, Mass.) and junior Doria Brown (Little Falls, N.J.) of the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team, as well as sophomores Dage Minors (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda) and Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) of the men’s team, have all earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, as announced on Wednesday by the USTFCCCA. In addition, both the men’s and women’s cross country programs have been honored at the team level by the USTFCCCA All-Academic program.

NASHUA, N.H. (November 22, 2014) – Junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) finished 32nd on Saturday afternoon, to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team, which posted a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Championship East Regional, co-hosted by Franklin Pierce and Merrimack at Mines Falls Park Trail. Roberts Wesleyan took home the East Region title.

(November 9, 2014) – Junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) ran a 6k time of 26:58 to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team on Sunday morning at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, hosted by Franklin Pierce. The Ravens finished with 294 points to place 12th in the 14-team field.

RINDGE, N.H. (November 6, 2014) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team has been picked to finish 12th in the Northeast-10 Conference Coaches’ Poll, as announced Thursday morning by the Conference Office. The Ravens collected 63 points in the 15-team poll.

(October 24, 2014) – Junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) ran an 11:04.78 on Friday afternoon to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team at the CCSU Mini Meet, held at Stanley Park. The Ravens finished with 166 points to place seventh in their 10-team meet.

BOSTON (October 11, 2014) -- Junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) ran a 5K time of 20:07.1 to place 190th and lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team at the NEICAAA Championships at Franklin Park. The Ravens finished with 1130 points to place 37th of 38 teams at the meet.

The Ravens finished with 591 points to place 22nd in their 35-team meet.

(September 20, 2014) – Freshman Natalie Davies, junior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) and junior Doria Brown (Little Falls, N.J.) all posted 5K times under 20 minutes on Saturday for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational. The Ravens finished 17th in the 38-team meet with 533 points.

(September 13, 2014) – Freshman Natalie Davies finished 17th on Saturday afternoon with a time of 18:05 to lead the way for the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team in the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup, the first of three on-campus meets for the Ravens this fall. Franklin Pierce finished fifth of nine teams at the meet.
