(April 11, 2011) – Junior Ben Brewer (Brattleboro, Vt.) won at first singles and freshman Pat Gilhuly (Killingworth, Conn.) won at second singles on Monday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision at Saint Michael’s in Northeast-10 Conference play.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (April 10, 2011) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team was defeated by Merrimack, 9-0, in Northeast-10 Conference play at Merrimack on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, Franklin Pierce falls to 1-8 (1-8 Northeast-10), while Merrimack improves to 15-3 (9-0 Northeast-10).

(April 8, 2011) – Junior Ben Brewer (Brattleboro, Vt.) and freshman Pat Gilhuly (Killingworth, Conn.) notched wins at first and second singles, respectively, while Gilhuly teamed with senior Dan McDonough (Manchester, N.H.) to pick up a win at second doubles on Friday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision at Saint Anselm in Northeast-10 Conference play.

RINDGE, N.H. (April 5, 2011) – Junior Ben Brewer (Brattleboro, Vt.) and freshman Pat Gilhuly (Killingworth, Conn.) posted dominant wins at first and second singles, respectively, and each picked up a doubles victory as well on Tuesday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University men’s tennis team to a 7-2 home victory over American International in Northeast-10 Conference play. Freshman Nick Lyon picked up a win at third singles for AIC in the loss.

With the loss, Franklin Pierce opens the season at 0-1 (0-1 Northeast-10), while Adelphi improves to 1-1 (1-0 Northeast-10).
