Cross Country Competes at Northeast-10 Championship

EASTON, Mass. (November 7, 2010) – Junior Melissa Dymek (Hubbardston, Mass.) finished 136th overall in a time of 23:25 on Sunday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University cross country team to a 16th-place finish at the Northeast-10 Conference Cross Country Championship, hosted by Stonehill. American International sophomore Jeptui Cherutich the individual title with a time of 18:02, while Stonehill collected the team title.
Cross Country Finishes Eighth at Golden Knights Joust

COLONIE, N.Y. (October 22, 2010) – Sophomore Jillian Garrity (Manchester, N.H.) finished 44th overall in a time of 23:01 on Friday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University cross country team to an eighth-place finish at the Golden Knights Joust, hosted by Saint Rose at The Crossings of Colonie. Southern New Hampshire junior Emma Lundberg won the individual title with a time of 18:42, while Bentley collected the team title.
Melissa Dymek Named to Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll

RINDGE, N.H. (October 19, 2010) – Junior Melissa Dymek (Hubbardston, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University cross country team has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Oct. 17, as announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Cross Country Places 11th at Saints Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. (October 15, 2010) – Junior Melissa Dymek (Hubbardston, Mass.) finished 72nd overall in a time of 23:39 on Friday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University cross country team to an 11th-place finish at the sixth annual Saints Invitational, hosted by Emmanuel College at Franklin Park. Babson sophomore Charlotte Margel won the individual title with a time of 19:48, while Lesley collected the team title.
Cross Country Finishes 27th at James Earley Invitational

WESTFIELD, Mass. (October 9, 2010) – Junior Melissa Dymek (Hubbardston, Mass.) finished 164th overall in a time of 22:56.39 on Saturday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University cross country team to a 27th-place finish at the 14th annual James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State at Stanley Park. Vassar junior Johanna Spangler won the individual title with a time of 18:29.68 to help lead her team to the team title.
Cross Country Places Third at Rivier Invitational

NASHUA, N.H. (September 24, 2010) – Junior Melissa Dymek (Hubbardston, Mass.) finished 6th overall in a time of 24:15 on Friday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University cross country team to a 3rd-place finish at the Rivier College Cross Country Invitational. Emerson’s Heather Hoglund won the event individually with a time of 21:44 to lead the Lions to the team title.
Cross Country Competes at Jim Sheehan Classic

FITCHBURG, Mass. (September 10, 2010) Freshman Keri Marnane (Cranston, R.I.) finished 18th overall in a time of 23:55 on Friday afternoon to lead the Franklin Pierce University cross country team to a 4th-place finish at the Jim Sheehan Memorial, hosted by Fitchburg State. Eastern Connecticut States Amanda Quinones won the event individually with a time of 21:18, while Worcester State took home the team title.
