Melissa Dymek has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly
Honor Roll.RINDGE, N.H. (October 19, 2010) – Junior Melissa Dymek (Hubbardston, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University cross country team has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending on Oct. 17, as announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Dymek placed 72nd individually with a time of 23:39 at the Saints Invitational in Boston on Friday afternoon. She led a trio of Ravens who finished in the top 100, as Franklin Pierce finished in 11th place out of 18 teams.
Dymek has run in all four events this fall for the Ravens, with her best individual finish coming in the Rivier Invitational on Sept. 24, when she finished sixth with a time of 24:15. It was the best individual finish of her career and was a time that was over a minute faster than her previous quickest run on the Rivier Invitational course.
The Ravens return to action on Friday, Oct. 22 at the Golden Knights Joust, hosted by Saint Rose, at 3 p.m.
