Men’s Cross Country/Track & Field’s Gradijan Earns Academic All-America Honors from CoSIDA

(July 16, 2018) – Senior Martin Gradijan (Lebanon, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country and track & field program has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team, as announced earlier this summer by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America).

(June 5, 2018) – Senior Martin Gradijan (Lebanon, N.H.) and graduate student Jon Holmes (Albany, N.Y.) of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country and track & field teams have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team, as announced late last week by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). As a result of the selection, Gradijan advances to the Academic All-America ballot.
Cross Country Programs Combine to Boast Eight USTFCCCA All-Academic Selections

(February 12, 2018) – A total of eight members of the Franklin Pierce University men’s and women’s cross country teams have earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, as announced late last week by the USTFCCCA. In addition, both the men’s and women’s cross country programs have been honored at the team level by the USTFCCCA All-Academic program.

Men’s Cross Country Takes Fifth at NCAA Championship East Regional

AMHERST, N.Y. (November 4, 2017) – In a year in which it lost its top-four runners from a year ago, the youth movement of the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team still managed to earn a top-five finish in the NCAA Championship East Regional, hosted by Daemen College. Three Ravens earned All-East Region honors with top-25 finishes to highlight the team’s performance on Saturday at Audubon Golf Course. It marked the program’s fifth straight top-five finish at the regional meet.

WESTFIELD, Mass. (October 22, 2017) – Freshman Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) finished 10th, while sophomore Jeff Reddy (Chester, N.H.) placed 15th, as both earned All-Conference honors on Sunday at Stanley Park. The youth movement led the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team to a seventh-place finish (out of 14 teams) at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, hosted by American International College.

(October 20, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team has been picked up finish eighth, in a 15-team field, at the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference Championship, as announced on Thursday by the Conference office. In addition, the women’s team was selected to finish ninth.

(September 29, 2017) – Freshman Hugo Arlabosse (Marseille, France) posted a second-place finish in his first career collegiate race on Friday afternoon, to lead the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team to a fourth-place finish (of 36 teams) at the Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University.

(September 16, 2017) – Sophomore Jeff Reddy (Chester, N.H.) led the way with a sixth-place finish on Saturday, as the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team placed third, of six teams, while hosting the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds. Three Ravens finished in the top 20 on the day.
Men’s Cross Country Peppers Top 20 on Way to Second at Smith College Invitational

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (September 9, 2017) – On Saturday at the Smith College Cross Country Invitational, the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team put two runners in the top 10 and had six competitors finish in the top 20 of an 82-runner field. It all added up to a second-place finish, out of seven teams, for the Ravens at the meet.

EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 1, 2017) – Senior Martin Gradijan (Lebanon, N.H.) led the way for the Franklin Pierce University men’s cross country team at the Mount St. Mary’s 5K Duals on Friday afternoon. As a team at the season-opening meet, the Ravens went winless in the dual-meet format, falling to George Washington, American, host Mount St. Mary’s, and Maryland-Baltimore County.
