MANCHESTER, N.H. (October 27, 2013) – Sophomore runner Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) earned Third-Team All-Northeast-10 Conference honors on Sunday, as she placed 19th out of 149 competitors at the 2013 Northeast-10 Conference Championship at Saint Anselm College in Manchester.

(September 21, 2013) – Sophomore Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) placed 14th out of 207 competitors in a time of 19:09.31 on Saturday to help lead the Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country team to an eighth place finish out of 29 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational in North Dartmouth, Mass.

Howard Powell Named Asst. T&F/XC Coach through NCAA Diversity Grant

RINDGE, N.H. (July 29, 2013) – Franklin Pierce University head track & field/cross country coach Zach Emerson announced on Monday that Howard Powell has been added to the program’s coaching staff as an assistant coach. The hiring was made possible after the Department of Athletics had recently received a diversity grant from the NCAA, which promotes the hiring of minority candidates to help create more career opportunities in intercollegiate athletics. The funding for the grant is good for one year.

(June 13, 2013) – The Franklin Pierce University men’s and women’s track & field/cross country programs will be holding the inaugural Pearly Pond 5k Run, on Sunday, Aug. 25, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the Rindge campus. The announcement was made on Thursday by head coach Zach Emerson, as the event will serve as a fundraiser to help support the Ravens men’s and women’s track & field/cross country programs.
