Franklin Pierce Field Hockey Listed Among Top Teams in Division II Academically

RINDGE, N.H. (March 7, 2006) – The Franklin Pierce field hockey team is recognized as one of the top programs academically in NCAA Division II as it received Academic Squad status from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) for the 2005 season. It marks the third time in the past four years that the program has received academic honors.

Blanchard Participates in the 2005 NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game

RINDGE, N.H. (November 22, 2005) – Franklin Pierce senior Laura Blanchard (Rockport, Mass./Rockport) participated in the 2005 Division II NFHCA Field Hockey North/South Senior All-Star Game this past weekend at the University of Louisville, the site for the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Final Four.

Five Ravens earn Northeast-10 All-Academic Honors

RINDGE, N.H. (October 31, 2005) – Five members of the Franklin Pierce field hockey team were named to the 2005 Northeast-10 First and Second Team All-Academic Squads. The teams are selected by the Sports Information Directors of the Northeast-10. Candidates are chosen based on their performances both on and off the field.

Southern Connecticut Defeats Franklin Pierce, 1-0

No. 7 Stonehill blanks Franklin Pierce, 4-0

(October 15 , 2005) – The Franklin Pierce field hockey team suffered a tough loss, 4-0 to Stonehill College, ranked No. 7 in this weeks STX/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll, in Northeast-10 conference action this afternoon at W.B Mason Stadium this afternoon. The host Skyhawks set a school record with their eighth straight victory dating back to September 14th.

Franklin Pierce Stuns Assumption, 3-1
