RINDGE, N.H. (March 22, 2007) – Franklin Pierce men’s ice hockey sophomore Coursen Schneider (Stony Point, N.Y./Avon Old Farms) was named to the ECAC Northeast Conference All-Academic First team by the Conference office on Wednesday. A total of 69 student-athletes representing each of the 16 ECAC Northeast teams earned this honor based on outstanding performance in the classroom.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 14, 2007) – Franklin Pierce has promoted assistant coach Scott Loiseau to head coach of the men’s ice hockey program at the College. The announcement was made today by Bruce Kirsh, Vice President and Director of Athletics at the College, and confirmed by President Dr. George J. Hagerty.

RINDGE, N.H. (March 5, 2007) – Jay McCormack has resigned his post as head ice hockey coach at Franklin Pierce to become the athletic department’s first full-time NCAA compliance coordinator. The announcement was made today by Bruce Kirsh, Vice President and Director of Athletics at the College.

The team is selected by the Sports Information Directors of the Northeast-10. Candidates are chosen based on their performances both on and off the field.
