RINDGE, N.H. (May 28, 2015) – Junior back Natalia Bachelder (South Berwick, Maine), junior midfielder Chelsey Burnell (West Baldwin, Maine), sophomore back Morgan Caisse (Westminster, Mass.), freshman forward Carly Canavan (Kingston, N.Y.), sophomore forward Francesca Cartee (Rindge, N.H.), sophomore forward Rachel Deneault (Holden, Mass.), freshman midfielder Lauren Grimard (Turners Falls, Mass.), freshman midfielder Danielle Harris (Templeton, Mass.), sophomore back Shannon O’Leary (Florence, Mass.) and freshman midfielder Erin Smith (Templeton, Mass.) of the Franklin Pierce University field hockey team have all been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II National Academic Squad, as announced earlier this spring by the NFHCA.

(December 3, 2014) – Junior back Natalia Bachelder (South Berwick, Maine) has been named to the All-Northeast-10 Conference Second Team, as announced earlier this fall by the Conference office. In addition, freshman forward Carly Canavan (Kingston, N.Y.) has been selected to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team.

(November 15, 2014) – The Franklin Pierce University field hockey team honored its four-player senior class prior to the start of Saturday afternoon’s game, celebrating the careers of forwards Courtney Kelly (Plymouth, N.H.) and Tori Gamache (Goffstown, N.H.), co-captain midfielder Brittany Lepore (Barnstable, Mass.) and back Adria Liseno (Somersworth, N.H.). Unfortunately for the Ravens, junior forward Mary Plotas spoiled the Senior Day festivities, as she scored three goals to lead No. 7 nationally ranked Adelphi to a 5-0 victory in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (November 12, 2014) – Senior forward Courtney Kelly (Plymouth, N.H.) and junior midfielder Erin Trainor (Auburn, Mass.) scored second-half goals on Wednesday afternoon, but three first-half goals were the difference, as the Franklin Pierce University field hockey team was defeated, 5-2, at Saint Anselm in Northeast-10 Conference play at Grappone Stadium. Junior forward Colleen Sears scored twice in the victory for Saint Anselm.

(November 7, 2014) – Freshman goalkeeper Meaghan Williams (Salem, N.H.) piled up a season-best 14 saves on Friday afternoon, but was still beaten five times, as the Franklin Pierce University field hockey team suffered a 5-0 setback at the hands of Assumption in Northeast-10 Conference play at Sodexo Field. Senior forward Paige Anderson scored three times and added an assist to notch seven points in the win for Assumption.

Freshman goalkeeper Meaghan Williams (Salem, N.H.) stopped all three shots on her cage to notch the shutout.

Junior midfielder Becca Moore scored the lone goal in defeat for Bentley.

(October 11, 2014) – Junior midfielder Erin Trainor (Auburn, Mass.) and senior back Adria Liseno (Somersworth, N.H.) each made defensive saves to preserve a scoreless tie on Saturday afternoon, but the Franklin Pierce University field hockey team was felled in a shootout, 1-0, by Mercy in non-conference play at Sodexo Field. Senior midfielder Giana Magosin and freshman back Geraldine Grandprez scored for Mercy in the shootout.
