Farber Named to NE-10 All-Academic Second Team

RINDGE, N.H. (November 14, 2007) Junior Charlotte Farber (New York, N.Y./ Churchill School) of the Franklin Pierce University womens cross country team was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic second team by the conferences Sports Information Directors, the conference announced on Wednesday. To be eligible for selection, runners must have participated in at least half of the teams competitions, achieved a 3.20 grade point average or higher (on a 4.0 scale), and completed at least one academic year at their current institution.
Franklin Pierce Competes at NE-10 Championship

NORTH EASTON, Mass. (October 21, 2007) The Franklin Pierce University womens cross country team competed at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday afternoon, held on the campus of Stonehill College. The Ravens finished in 14th place at the meet with a total of 433 points.

Franklin Pierce Runs at Pop Crowell Invitational

WENHAM, Mass. (September 29, 2007) The Franklin Pierce University women's cross country team took part in the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College, on Saturday morning. The Ravens finished in 22nd place overall, led by the running of junior co-captain Courtney Garrity (Manchester, N.H./Manchester Central), who finished in 97th place with a season-best time of 22:35.

(September 15, 2007) The Franklin Pierce University womens cross country team began its 2007 season with a sixth-place finish at the 26th annual Shacklette Invitational, hosted by Saint Anselm College, on a rain-soaked Saturday morning. Junior captain Courtney Garrity (Manchester, N.H./Manchester Central) led the Ravens with a time of 24:30, good for 40th place overall.
