Junior Varsity Bowling Team Hauls in Awards at EIBC Finale

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (November 21, 2016) – The Franklin Pierce university women's bowling junior varsity team competed at the EIBC hosted at the Wallingford Bowl on Sunday.

The Ravens went 3-3 on the day and were named the Women's Division League Champions after finishing 17-5 on the year which lead to Coach Ashley Buck receiving the Coach of the Year award.

Sarah Busse (Commack, N.Y.) left Wallingford with some hardware as she was named the Conference MVP while also earning the High Average, High Six Game Series, and High Three Game Series awards.

Freshman Katey Comstock (Hartland, Vt.) was named to the All-Conference First Team while classmates Erin Mastropietro (Mechanicville, N.Y.) and Monica Lombardi (Malden, Mass.) were each named to the All-Conference Second Team.

The JV squad returns to action on February 4, 2017 for the EIBC Championships. The winning team that day will receive and automatic bid into the USBC ITC Sectionals in March.
