Title: Assistant Coach
Previous College: Norfolk State '15

Ashley Buck enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University bowling program in 2016-17.

A three-year letterwinner at Norfolk State (bio), Buck makes her collegiate coaching debut at Franklin Pierce. She saw her most extensive action as a Spartan as a senior in 2014-15, when she averaged a career-best 173.3 pins over 32 games and topped 200 twice, including a season-best of 213 at the MEAC Southern Divisional. Though she missed her sophomore season, Buck averaged 171.3 pins over 46 individual games for her career and also took part in 64 Baker games along the way.

Buck and the Spartans made trips to the Mid-Easter Athletic Conference title match in both her freshman and senior campaigns, the program's only two trips to the title contest. Norfolk State captured the MEAC crown in 2012, but was clipped by Maryland Eastern Shore in 2015. During her career, Buck was a four-time National Tenpin Coaches Association All-Academic selection and a three-time MEAC All-Academic Team honoree.

Originally from Farmingdale, N.J., Buck graduated from Norfolk State in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in sociology and is pursuing her master's degree at Franklin Pierce.
