Bio

Jeff Raymond enters his third season as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce University baseball program in 2017.

Raymond makes his first official stop on the collegiate coaching circuit with the Ravens, though he did spend time as a student assistant with his alma mater, Keene State.

Raymond spent the final two seasons of his collegiate career with Keene State, including a trip to the NCAA Championship in 2010. Over two seasons with the Owls, he made 22 appearances on the mound, including 16 starts, and totaled 102.1 innings. Along the way, he collected 61 strikeouts and posted a 4.21 ERA.

Prior to coming to New Hampshire, Raymond spent two seasons on the hill for Manchester (Conn.) Community College. In 2008 with the Cougars, he earned NJCAAA Division III All-New England honors while leading the team to a berth in the NJCAAA Division III World Series.

Following his college career, Raymond spent two years in independent ball (Baseball-Reference), splitting time between the NYSL Federals of the Canadian-American Association, and the Carlsbad Bats and Trinidad Triggers of the Pecos League. Over 40.2 professional innings, he allowed 53 hits, walked 29 and struck out 29 to post a 7.52 ERA.

Originally from Amston, Conn., Raymond graduated from Keene State in 2011 with a degree in phsyical education.
