Mike Fahy enters his second season as Jayson King's top Assistant
Coach with the Franklin Pierce University baseball program in
2012.
Fahy brings over a decade of coaching and professional baseball experience with him to Rindge, including 13 years as a scout for Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves between 1996 and 2009.
Most recently at the collegiate level, Fahy spent six seasons with fellow Northeast-10 Conference member Massachusetts Lowell from 1999 through 2004. He also did two tours of duty (2003-04) with the Concord Quarry Dogs of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
Fahy served as Head Baseball Coach and Tyngsborough (Mass.) High School for five years before joining the Ravens.
Mike Chambers enters his second season as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce University baseball program in 2012.
Chambers makes his first stop on the collegiate coaching circuit with the Ravens after laying claim to two NCAA Regional titles (2003, 2006) as a player under Head Coach Jayson King. Chambers has two years of amateur coaching experience, mostly with the Northeast Hurricanes' U14 and U15 AAU squads. He led the U14 team to a division title and a silver medal at the NEAAU Championship.
Chambers, who played in Rindge from 2003 through 2006, put together one of the most prolific offensive careers in school history. Four years after gruduating, he is still the program's all-time leader in doubles (70). Chambers also ranks among the top 10 players in school history in games played (199), hits (238), runs scored (152), home runs (23) and runs batted in (139).
His 2006 senior season set a program record that still stands, with 26 doubles. Chambers also scored 61 runs in his senior campaign, which currently ranks third in school history.
Sean O'Brien enters his second season as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce University baseball program in 2012. He also serves as Head Coach of the Ravens junior varsity baseball team.
O'Brien joins the Ravens after stints as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at both Endicott and Massachusetts Lowell. He also has four years of coaching experience at the amateur level with Lightning Baseball of New England. His Lightning squads captured third place at the national tournament in 2010 and fourth place in 2008.
O'Brien spent four years on the field in Rindge (2003-06) and capture a pair of NCAA Regional titles (2003, 2006) under Head Coach Jayson King.
