Bio

Jeff Pelkey wrapped up his third season as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce University baseball team in 2017. Pelkey also serves as an Experience Director in the Residential Life Department at the University.

Pelkey makes his second stop on the collegiate coaching circuit, as he previously spent two years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Keene State, where he also served as the head coach of the Owls' junior varsity program. At the amateur level, he has served as a coach of the Keene Blue Jays of the Central New England Baseball Association and currently serves at the coach of the Keene Junior Swamp Bats 16U AAU squad.

A four-year letterwinner and member of the starting rotation at Keene State (bio), Pelkey earned All-Little East Conference First Team honors as a junior in 2011 and followed with All-Little East Second Team honors as a senior in 2012. His 21-7 career record at Keene State allowed him to graduate as the program's all-time leader in wins, and the Owls earned NCAA Championship berths in both his sophomore and junior campaigns. Pelkey was named Keene State's Senior Male Student-Athlete of the Year in 2012.

Pelkey earned his bachelor's degree from Keene State in 2012, and followed with his master's degree in 2013.
