Selected by the New York Mets in the 17th round (520 overall) of the 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

Finished his career as the program's all-time leader in home runs (32). Also finished his career fourth all-time in program history in walks (83), fifth in runs batted in (146), tied for fifth in triples (10), tied for eighth in runs scored (147) and 13th in stolen bases (48).

Among program single-season records, at the end of his career, ranked first in runs batted in (69, 2016), second in walks (42, 2016), tied for third in triples (6, 2015) and home runs (14, 2016), tied for fourth in runs scored (61, 2016), tied for sixth in home runs (13, 2015), 11th in slugging percentage (.656, 2015), tied for 12th in runs batted in (50, 2015), 13th in slugging percentage (.638, 2016), 16th in runs scored (54, 2015) and tied for 20th in stolen bases (23, 2013).
