Through the end of his sophomore season, among program single-season records: was tied for sixth in stolen bases (29, 2015), ranked ninth in runs batted in (51, 2015) and was tied for 11th in stolen bases (26, 2014).

Personal: Son of Caroline and Anthony LaVorgna...Has not declared a major...Has two older brothers, Eric and Jason...Jason (Baseball-Reference) was drafted by the New York Mets in the 35th round (1,078 overall) of the 2007 MLB Draft and logged 53 innings over two seasons in affiliated ball, recording a 6.79 ERA, a 1.792 WHIP and 47 strikeouts while topping out with the Class A Savannah Sand Gnats in 2008...Jason played collegiately at Univ. of Massachusetts in 2005 (bio) before pitching for Eastern Connecticut State in 2006-07 (2008 ECSU Media Guide)...Meanwhile, Eric was a kicker on the football team at Southern Connecticut State in 2010 (bio).
