As a Junior in 2009: Made 10 relief appearances for the Ravens...Posted a 1-0 record and a 5.11 ERA over 12.1 innings...Allowed eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits, walked four, hit three batters and struck out nine...Threw a scoreless, hitless inning of relief, walked one and struck out one in the first game of a doubleheader against American International on 3/28...Tossed a perfect inning out of the bullpen at Saint Rose on 4/2...Threw a perfect inning of relief with two strikeouts in the second game of a doubleheader against Saint Anselm on 4/18...Tossed a perfect inning out of the bullpen and struck out one to pick up the win at American International on 4/20...Pitched a scoreless, hitless inning of relief and struck out two in the second game of a doubleheader at New Haven on 4/25...Tossed two shutout innings out of the bullpen, allowed one hit and struck out one at Massachusetts Lowell on 5/3...Threw two scoreless, hitless innings of relief, hit a batter and struck out one in the Northeast-10 Championship against Massachusetts Lowell on 5/9.
As
a Sophomore in 2008: Made 16 appearances on the mound,
including three starts. Posted a 2-1 record with a 2.97 ERA in 33.1
innings. Tossed a seven-inning complete-game shutout in his first
start of the year against St. Thomas Aquinas (3/25), striking out a
season-high eight and allowing only four hits. Earned the win
versus Saint Michael's by allowing two earned runs and striking out
five in seven innings (4/6).
As a Freshman in 2007:
Appeared in five games out of the bullpen for the Ravens, posting a
1.93 ERA in 4 2/3 innings. Allowed no runs and two hits in his
final four appearances of the season, spanning 3 2/3 innings.
Before Franklin Pierce: Three-year
letter winner in baseball, basketball and football at
Dighton-Rehoboth High School (Mass.)...All-Conference
selection.
