As a Sophomore in 2008:
Made two relief appearances for the Ravens...Posted an 0-0 record
and a 0.00 ERA over two innings...Allowed one unearned run on one
hit, walked two and struck out three...In his first Franklin Pierce
appearance, threw an inning of relief, gave up one unearned run on
one hit and struck out two against American International on
4/17...Tossed a scoreless, hitless inning of relief, walked two and
struck out one in the second game of a doubleheader against Pace on
4/21.
As a Freshman at Elms in
2007: Made six appearances on the mound for the Blazers,
including four starts...Posted a 3-2 record with a 3.45 ERA over
28.2 innings...Allowed 13 runs (11 earned) on 19 hits, walked 16,
hit five batters and struck out 24...In his collegiate debut,
started, threw 4.1 innings, gave up three runs on four hits, walked
five, hit a batter and struck out five to take the loss in the
second game of a doubleheader against Worcester State on
3/19...Tossed a complete game, allowed three runs (one earned) on
four hits, walked three, struck out four and took the loss in the
second game of a doubleheader against Bates on 3/22...Threw a
one-hit shutout, walked four, hit two batters and struck out three
to notch his first career win in the first game of a doubleheader
against Becker on 4/19...Tossed two innings of scoreless, hitless
relief, walked two, hit a batter and struck out one to tally the
win in the second game of a doubleheader against Saint Joseph's on
4/22...Threw a complete-game five-hitter, allowed one run, walked
one and recorded a career-high seven strikeouts to notch the win in
the first game of a doubleheader at Thomas on 4/28.
