Stonehill threatened in the eighth, loading the bases with one out off Franklin Pierce reliever Mike Farrell (Russell, Mass./Gateway Regional), but Grabowski entered and got out of the jam by getting a fly ball to shallow center and a ground out. He retired the side in order in the ninth, fanning the last two batters of the game.
