Cross Country Finishes Season At Northeast-10 Conference Championships
Garrity leads Ravens with time of 22:55
Courtney Garrity and the Ravens concluded their season on Saturday
morning at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.

COLCHESTER, Vt. (October 25, 2008)
– The Franklin Pierce University women’s cross country
team concluded its season on Saturday with a 15th-place finish at
the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, hosted by Saint
Michael’s.
Massachusetts Lowell captured the conference championships with a
total of 46 points. Franklin Pierce compiled 456 points at the
event to finish 15th out of 15 teams. Melissa Nash of Bentley took
the individual conference title with a time of 18:19 on the five
kilometer course.
Senior Courtney Garrity
(Manchester, N.H./Manchester Central) led Franklin Pierce,
as she posted a time of 22:55 to place 111th overall among the 139
individuals who competed in the women’s event. Freshman Melissa Dymek (Hubbardston,
Mass./Quabbin Regional) turned in a time of 23:54 to finish
121st overall.
