Berrouard posts top finish for Ravens

SMITHFIELD, R.I. (October 22, 2006) – The Franklin Pierce cross country team participated in the 2006 Northeast-10 Championships, hosted by Bryant University this afternoon. The Ravens finished in 14th place with a total of 426 points.

Senior Krystal Berrouard (Swanzey, N.H./Monadnock Regional) led all Franklin Pierce runners, finishing in 102nd place with a season-best time of 23:16. Senior Michelle Frazer (Braintree, Mass./Braintree) followed Berrouard closely, posting a 104th place finish with a time of 23:22. Freshman Alexandra Edwards (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield) turned in a season-best time of 23:53 to finish in 110th place, while senior captain Lisa Zizza (Quincy, Mass./Fontbonne Academy) placed 113th with a time of 23:59.

The Ravens conclude their season with three top five finishes, including a a first place finish at the Franklin Pierce Invitational.
