Franklin Pierce Posts Fifth Place Finish at Western New England Invitational
Frazer leads Ravens with 26th place finish
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (October 14, 2006)
– The Franklin Pierce University cross country team
participated in the Western New England College Invitational this
afternoon hosted by Western New England. The Ravens finished fifth
overall with 146 total points.
Senior captain Michelle Frazer
(Braintree, Mass./Braintree) led the Ravens for the second
straight week, finishing 26th out of 83 runners, with a time of
23:52 (season-best). Classmate Krystal Berrouard (Swanzey, N.H./Monadnock
Regional) turned in a 29th place finish with a total time of
23:50, while senior Lisa Zizza
(Quincy, Mass./Fontbonne Academy) posted a 38th place finish
with a time of 24:30 (season-best).
The cross country team will be in action again next Saturday as it
travels to Bryant University for the Northeast-10 Conference
Championships.
