Berrouard posts third consecutive top finish for Ravens

NAHSUA, N.H. (September 29, 2006) – The Franklin Pierce University cross country team participated in the Rivier Invitational this afternoon hosted by Rivier College. The Ravens finished third overall with 111 total points.

Senior Krystal Berrouard (Swanzey, N.H./Monadnock Regional) led the Ravens for the third consecutive week, finishing 15th out of 73 runners, with a time of 24:03. Classmate Michelle Frazer (Braintree, Mass./Braintree) turned in a 17th place finish with a total time of 24:10, while freshman Alex Edwards (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield) and senior Lisa Zizza (Quincy, Mass./Fontbonne Academy) followed with a individual times of 24:58 and 25:00 respectively.

The cross country team will be in action again next Thursday as it hosts the Franklin Pierce Invitational at 4:15 p.m.
