Berrouard posts second straight top finish for Ravens

WENHAM, Mass. (September 23, 2006) – The Franklin Pierce University cross country team participated in the Pop Crowell Invitational this afternoon hosted by Gordon College. The Ravens finished 17th overall with 476 total points.

Senior Krystal Berrouard (Swanzey, N.H./Monadnock Regional) led the Ravens for the second straight week, finishing 94th out of 239 runners, with a time of 23:50. Classmate Michelle Frazer (Braintree, Mass./Braintree) turned in a 96th place finish with a total time of 23:52, while freshman Alex Edwards (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield) and senior Lisa Zizza (Quincy, Mass./Fontbonne Academy) followed with a individual times of 25:00.

The cross country team will be in action again next Saturday it participates in the Rivier College Invitational . The race is scheduled for 4 p.m.
