Franklin Pierce Men's Cross Country Team Finishes Eighth at Stonehill Invitational
Junior Mike Fortier places 27th overall to lead men
NORTH EASTON, Mass. (October 5, 2002) -
The Franklin Pierce University men's cross country team posted an
eighth place finish out of nine teams at the Stonehill Invitational
this afternoon.
Junior Mike Fortier (Barre,
Vt./Spaulding) led the men's team with a 27th place finish
out of a field of 91 competitors with his time of 30:38. Junior
captain, Jeff Joslyn (Plainfield,
Conn./Plainfield) followed with a 36th place finish with his
time of 31:38. Freshman Jonathan
Meserve (Pembroke, Mass./Salt Lake Regional) posted a 46th
place finish with a time of 32:35.
The Ravens will next host the Franklin Pierce Invitational on
Thursday, Oct. 10. The men's race will start at 3 p.m., while the
women's race follows at 4 p.m.
