RINDGE, N.H. (June 3, 2016) – Senior Alyssa Lambert (Manchester, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's track & field team has earned an All-America Second Team selection from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for the outdoor season, as announced on Tuesday by the USTFCCCA.

The USTFCCCA bestows All-America First Team honors on those who finish in the top eight in each event at the NCAA Championships, as well as to all members of a relay team which accomplishes the same. Second Team accolades are bestowed on those who finish ninth through 12th in individual events and ninth through 10th in relay events.

Lambert is the first member of Franklin Pierce's women's team to collect All-America honors for the outdoor season, after being the first to do the same during the indoor campaign. She snagged the final All-America spot in the 1500 meters at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, as she turned in a season-best time of 4:36.86 to finish 12th.
