Gagnon RINDGE, N.H. (March 26, 2015) – Sophomore Miranda Gagnon (Rollinsford, N.H.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's track & field team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending on March 22, as announced earlier this week by the Conference office.

Gagnon and the rest of the Ravens opened the outdoor portion of their schedule at the Shamrock Invitational, hosted by Coastal Carolina, where she posted a park of 38.81 meters to place eighth out of 50 student-athletes in the javelin. The throw was less than two meters shy of the NCAA Championships provisional qualifying standard and was the best in the Northeast-10 for the first week of the season.

The Ravens return to the track on Saturday, March 28, when they travel to Tufts for the Snowflake Classic in Medford, Mass.
