Hyde Named Northeast-10 Field Athlete of the Week
Sophomore picks up Ravens' first weekly award of season

Hyde earned her second career weekly award from the
Northeast-10.RINDGE, N.H. (February 11, 2014) – Sophomore Nadine Hyde (Maple Valley, Wash.) of the Franklin Pierce University women's track and field team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Field Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Feb. 9, as announced Monday by the Conference office.
Hyde had personal bests in a pair of throwing events on Friday at the BU Valentine Invitational. In the weight throw, she finished 35th (12.49m), with a mark that was good for fifth in the Northeast-10. In the shot put, she finished 36th (10.06m) and moved into 15th in the Northeast-10.
It is the first weekly award of the season on the women's side of things for the Ravens. It is the second career weekly award for Hyde, who earned Field Rookie of the Week honors once last season.
The Ravens return to the track on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Northeast-10 Championship at Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.
