As a Freshman in 2007-08: Appeared in three matches at third doubles during the spring after not playing during the fall season.
Before Franklin Pierce: A 2007 graduate of Georges Valley High School. Played soccer for three years and both basketball and tennis for one year at Georges Valley. Also snowboarded for four years at the school.
Personal: Born January 11, 1989, in Rockport, Maine. Daughter of Kimberly Thompson of Warren, Maine, and Paul Start of Woolwich, Maine. Has a sister, April (16). Majoring in political science, with a minor in philosophy.
