Saint Rose Sweeps Franklin Pierce, 9-0

Saint Rose on Tuesday.

RINDGE, N.H. (April 8,
2008) – The College of Saint Rose collected a 9-0
victory over Franklin Pierce University in Northeast-10 Conference
women’s tennis action this afternoon.
Saint Rose dropped just six games en route to the victory.
Freshman Rebecca Moon (Rancho Mirage, Calif./Aquinas) led the
double-winners for the Golden Knights, notching victories at No. 1
singles and doubles without dropping a game. Sophomore Rachael
O’Brien (Lowville, N.Y./Lowville) also failed to drop a game,
notching wins at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles.
Franklin Pierce (0-13, 0-10 NE-10) is back in action on Friday
when it hosts American International College at 3 p.m. Saint Rose
(4-7, 3-7 NE-10) hosts Saint Anselm College on Saturday at noon.
