Amanda Kauffman heads into her sixth season as assistant coach of the Franklin Pierce women's soccer program in 2017. Kauffman returns to the program in this new role after she put together an outstanding playing career in a crimson and grey uniform for the Ravens (2008-11). She works elsewhere on campus as the University's Assistant Director of Marketing and Communication.

Kauffman exploded during her junior season of 2010 as she earned numerous second-team All-America honors after leading the Northeast-10 Conference with 20 goals and four assists for 44 points. She also earned first-team all-league honors. She helped lead the Ravens to a spot in the NE-10 title match that year, while also guiding the team to the NCAA Tournament. She also earned Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA.

Big things were expected from Kauffman during her senior season of 2011, but an injury midway through the campaign derailed those hopes. Despite missing several games, Panaro led the team with six goals and still was named to the All-NE-10 Second-Team. She was able to fight through the injury and take part in the match versus Adelphi on Senior Day. Kauffman started the contest and was subbed in for following the first couple minutes of action. She left the field to a loud roar from the home fans, which was a fitting end and tribute to her amazing career. Kauffman also earned third-team NSCAA East Region honors and was tabbed a CoSIDA Academic All-District I pick.

Kauffman graduated from Franklin Pierce a semester early in December of 2011 and earned her bachelor's degree in mass communication. She was awarded with the Richard Burns Senior Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in the spring of 2012. She was named one of three finalists for the Northeast-10 Woman-of-the-Year award as well.

Kauffman was wed to former Franklin Pierce baseball player Cody Kauffman in July of 2012.
