Franklin Pierce Athletics to Host National Girls & Women in Sports Day on Sunday, Feb.12th

RINDGE, N.H. (2/8/23) – As part of a nationwide celebration, Franklin Pierce University Athletics will be hosting a clinic in honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day this coming Sunday, February 12th at The Bubble - The Grimshaw-Gudewicz Activity Center at Northfields from 12:00-2:00 p.m.

The clinic is Free for both Girls & Boys from the ages of 6-12 (grades 1-8), and will feature a variety of sessions geared towards developing sport specific skill sets. The represented Raven sports will be women's Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Softball , Golf and Volleyball, with coaches and athletes in attendance.

From the Women's Sports Foundation: "February 1, 2023, marks the 37th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). This celebration inspires girls and women to play and be active, to realize their full power. The confidence, strength, and character gained through sports participation are the very tools girls and women need to become strong leaders in sports and life. This year's event will also serve part of our year - long celebration of the Title IX's 50th anniversary."
