Women's Lacrosse Opens Season with Convincing 19-12 Win Over Saint Michael's

Jordan Baillargeon scores four goals and assists on two others for a six-point afternoon

WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 15, 2010) – The Franklin Pierce University women’s lacrosse team opened its 2010 season with a convincing 19-12 win over Saint Michael’s on Monday in Winter Park, Fla. The Ravens improved to 1-0, while St. Mike’s fell to 0-1. The game was a non-conference matchup despite the two programs being Northeast-10 Conference rivals.

Jordan Baillargeon and Lauren Stille each scored four goals to pace the offensive attack for Franklin Pierce. Baillargeon added a pair of assists for a six-point afternoon, while Stille assisted on one for five points.

Courtney Webber, Mary Kate Stille and Ashley Moirano each scored three goals to aid in the explosion for Franklin Pierce. Webber and Mary Kate Still each had an assist for four-point games.

Jillian Bolduc got the start in goal for Franklin Pierce and made 10 saves in earning the win.

The Ravens return to action on Wednesday when they face New Haven at 10 a.m. in Winter Park, Fla.
