RINDGE, N.H. (April 28, 2008) - Freshman attacker Lauren Stille (North Quincy, Mass./North Quincy) of the Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.

Stille capped her record-breaking freshman season by scoring 17 goals and assisting on three for 20 points in three matches last week. She scored five goals and added an assist in each of the team's first two games of the week, including the squad's 21-15 victory over American International College on Thursday night, and then netted seven goals and recorded an assist for eight points in the Ravens' 2008 season finale at Assumption College on Saturday afternoon.

In her first season with Franklin Pierce, the freshman attacker broke all three school offensive single-season records by scoring 73 goals and adding 14 assists for 87 points, surpassing the previous goals mark by 15 and the points mark by 21. She also finished the regular season as the conference's leading scorer, finishing 14 goals and eight points ahead of the second-place player.
