Lauren Stille has been named to the WomensLacrosse.com Division II All-Rookie Team.

RINDGE, N.H. (May 28, 2008) - Freshman Lauren Stille (North Quincy, Mass./North Quincy) of the Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team earned a spot on the WomensLacrosse.com Div. II All-Rookie Team, the web site announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Stille, who was named the first Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Year in program history earlier this month, was one of 16 student-athletes selected to the All-Rookie team. The Raven attacker also was the only player from the Northeast-10 selected to the squad.

Stille broke every major offensive record in her first season at Franklin Pierce, setting new single-season marks with 73 goals and 14 assists for 87 points. The North Quincy, Mass., native finished the year ranked third in the nation in goals per game (4.56/game) and also led all Div. II freshmen in points per game (5.44/game, 8th overall) and total points (87, 13th overall). In the Northeast-10, the freshman led the conference in both total goals and goals per game at season's end, while also pacing the NE-10 in total points and points per game at the end of the 2008 regular season.

In only one season in Rindge, Stille already ranks fifth all-time at Franklin Pierce in both career goals and points, while also sitting in sixth place on the school's career assists list.

Franklin Pierce completed the 2008 season with a 3-13 record (1-9 in the Northeast-10). The Ravens set at least seven individual and team records during the season, including shattering the school record for goals in a season with 180.
