Winchendon, Mass. (11/11/2023) -- The Franklin Pierce Womens Ice Hockey team completed the weekend series sweep versus Post University after losing two straight weekend series.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Mikalya Kelley (Eagan, Minn.) got it started early for the Ravens after scoring on her own second chance opportunity within the first five minutes of the opening period.

Ten minutes later, Kelley got another second chance opportunity and flushed it in for her fourth goal of the weekend.

At the 11-minute mark in the second period, Jenna Hartung (Burnsville, Minn.) had space and put another one in for the Ravens giving them some insurance.

With 40 seconds left in the game, Jodie Rose for Post was able to deflect one in ending the shutout making it 3-1.
