Women's Ice Hockey's Marisa Ketterman Named ECAC East Player of the Week
Sophomore piled up six points over weekend

Ketterman has been named ECAC East Player of the Week for the
second time this season.RINDGE, N.H. (February 24, 2015) – Sophomore forward Marisa Ketterman (Palmer, Alaska) of the Franklin Pierce University women's ice hockey team has been named ECAC East Player of the Week, for the week ending on Feb. 22, as announced Monday afternoon by the Conference office.
Ketterman put up six points in a 2-0-0 week for the Ravens and split her damage evenly across the two games. In Friday's 7-1 romp at Massachusetts Boston, she scored twice and added an assist. On Saturday, in a 4-1 win at Southern Maine, she added another goal and a pair of helpers.
On the season, Ketterman led the ECAC East in scoring, with 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points (1.40 per game). Her 20 assists also led the league.
It is the second Player of the Week honor of the season for Ketterman, who was previously honored for the week ending on Nov. 16.
The Ravens (19-5-1, 13-4-0 ECAC East) finished tied for third in the ECAC East in their inaugural season in the league. Franklin Pierce is the top seed in this week's ECAC Open Tournament and will face fifth seed and host Saint Michael's on Saturday, Feb. 28, in the second semifinal. Opening faceoff is set for 4 p.m. at Cairns Arena in South Burlington, Vt.
