RINDGE, N.H. (April 17, 2019) – For the first time this season, the Franklin Pierce University women's golf team has swept the Northeast-10 Conference weekly awards as senior Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.) has been named the NE10 Women's Golfer of the Week while freshman Christine Songcuan (Lancaster, Calif.) has snagged her third Rookie of the Week selection the league offices announced Wednesday afternoon.

The Golfer of Week award was the first of the season for Daley who led the Ravens to their second team tournament title at the Assumption College Invitational this past Saturday and Sunday. The team captain took home her first individual medal of the season producing a 155 (+11) two rounds including a season-low 75 (+3) second round. She totaled an invite high five birdies and 19 pars.

Songcuan tallied her fourth top-10 finish tying for seventh place at the Assumption College Invitational. The newcomer shot a 168 (+24) over the course of her 36 holes helping her squad to their second team tournament title of the campaign.

The Crimson and Grey wrap up their regular season hosting the two-day Franklin Pierce Spring Invitational Friday and Saturday at Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, N.H.
