RINDGE, N.H. (October 12, 2018) Following their first ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf East Super Regional, the Franklin Pierce University women's golf program started their 2018-19 campaign in September preparing for the 2018 Northeast-10 Conference Championship hosted by the College of Saint Rose at the Capital Hills Golf Club in Albany, N.Y. The league championship takes place this Sunday and Monday.

The NE10 Women's Golf Championship is fairly new as only four champions have been crowned the past four years. The Ravens captured their first conference title last year and the league's first automatic bid to the Regionals besting three-time defending champion Merrimack College by two strokes. During their 2017 championship run, Camden Morrison shot a NE10 record-low 67 (-5) at the first round and was joined on the NE10 All-Championship Team by current senior Sarah Daley (Beverly, Mass.). This season, the Warriors are favored to bring home their fourth conference championship earning six first-place votes while the Ravens collected the two remaining tallies.

SCOUTING THE RAVENS

The Ravens have one first-place finish this year coming during the Granite State Invitational when they shot a two-round 621 (+53) beating host Merrimack by three strokes. In the three other tournaments that the Crimson and Grey took part in they all placed second, the Saint Rose Fall Invitational (646, +70), the Le Moyne College Fall Invitational (642, +66) and the FPU Fall Invitational (640, +64).
