RINDGE, N.H. (October 3, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University freshman Christine Songcuan (Lancaster, Calif.) has been selected as the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Golf Rookie of the Week it was announced Wednesday afternoon by the league offices. This is the second time this season Songcuan has received top rookie honors.

Songcuan fired a consistent 78 (+7) during both rounds of the Granite State Invitational, which totaled 156 (+14) to help lead the Ravens to a first-place finish. The freshman never left the top-five golfers over the course of the two days tying for fifth place overall.

The Crimson and Grey return to the course in two weeks for the opening round of the NE10 Championship on Sunday, October 14.
