Harrington’s Strong Sectional Showing Leads to ECC Bowler of the Week Honors
RINDGE, N.H. (March 15, 2018) – Franklin Pierce University women's sophomore bowler Jenna Harrington (Barneveld, N.Y.) has been named the East Coast Conference Bowler of the Week Wednesday afternoon by the conference offices.
Harrington competed at the USBC ISC Sectionals Friday and placed sixth earning a bid to the 2018 Intercollegiate Singles Championship held April in Nebraska. Harrington averaged 207 a game and rolled a high of 241, the second largest single frame score of all the qualifiers. Harrington joins senior Jessica Davies (Cape Coral, Fla.) as the only Ravens to be honored by the ECC this year.
On the season, Franklin Pierce is 49-41 (.544) overall and they currently stand in fourth place in the ECC.
The Ravens wrap up their 2017-18 season with the ECC Championship beginning next Friday, March 23rd at the Port Jeff Bowl in Port Jefferson, N.Y.
