RINDGE, N.H. (July 7, 2017) – The Franklin Pierce University women's bowling team has received some academic honors from the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) it was announced last week.
As a team, the Crimson and Grey were one of 36 programs that earned the NTCA Academic Team Award. Annually, the NTCA recognizes programs that have excelled in the classroom. To be recognized, a program must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic school year. The Ravens excelled in the classroom with a 3.294 GPA.
The NTCA also hands out Individual Awards to student athletes who have excelled in the classroom. To be recognized, a student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year. This year there are 229 honorees, representing 50 NCAA programs. The Raven honorees are…
