Peirce Named Rookie of the Week for Second Time this Season

RINDGE, N.H. (November 22, 2016) – Franklin Pierce women's bowler Krysta Peirce (Lenox, Mich.) has been named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week Tuesday afternoon by the conference offices. This is the second time this season Peirce has been awarded top-rookie honors.

Peirce posted a 33rd place finish at the UMES Hawk Classic. She finished with an average of 186.3 and a total pinfall of 2,701. On the first day of competition, she led her squad in baker average (19.86) and rolled a team high score of 234 in a 965-811 win over no. 23 nationally-ranked Norfolk during day two.

Currently, the Ravens are atop the ECC Standings with a 26-16 (.619) record.

The Ravens return to the alley on the weekend of January 20th when they head back to Kutztown, Pa. for the KU Invitational at the Hiester Lanes in Reading, Pa.
