RINDGE, NH (3/12/2024) – For the first time since the 2012-13 season, the Franklin Pierce University women's basketball program is returning to the NCAA Division II East Regional playoffs. During the 2023-24 campaign, the Ravens boasted a decade best 20-10(13-9, NE10) record highlighted by a nine-game win-streak through the end of the season and victories over the regions top three teams including Saint Rose (#3), Assumption (#2), and Bentley (#1). Though the Ravens fell short in the Northeast-10 playoffs, the NCAA playoffs offer the team another opportunity to write their names in the history books.

The first round of NCAA regional playoffs will take place on Friday, March 15 hosted by the no. 1 seeded Bentley Falcons in Waltham, Massachusetts. The no. 7 seeded Franklin Pierce University Ravens will play the no. 2 Assumption Greyhounds at 2:30 PM.

The Ravens and the Greyhounds have played each other twice during the 2023-24 season. In January, Assumption handily won the game 77-51 but a month later the Ravens evened the season series with an 80-71 victory. Heading into NCAA playoffs, the trilogy game is up for grabs.
