Women's Basketball: Winning Streak Extended into the New Year After Big Win Over Pace

RINDGE, N.H (1/3/2024) -- The Franklin Pierce women's basketball team won their fourth straight game to kick off the new year Wednesday evening as they beat Pace University 47-36.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Senior forward Colette Mulderig (Scranton, PA) led all scorers with 14 points. She shot 6 for 9 from the field and was 2 for 2 from the free-throw line. Mulderig has five games in double figures this season.
• Senior guard Anna Badosa Soler (Girona, Spain) had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. She shot 4 for 10 from the field and has nine games in double figures this season.
• Franklin Pierce outscored Pace 23-16 in the first half. The Ravens played excellent defense throughout the night, as they only allowed Pace to make one shot from behind the arc.

BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS:
• Franklin Pierce shot 42% from the field (21 for 50). Pace shot 29% from the field (15 for 52)
• Franklin Pierce shot 33% from behind the arc (2 for 6). Pace shot 8% from behind the arc (1 for 13).
• Franklin Pierce shot 60% from the free throw line (3 for 5). Pace shot 38% from the free-throw line (5 for 14).
