RINDGE, N.H. (January 28, 2019) – Franklin Pierce University women's basketball freshman guard Lisa Sulejmani (Burlington, Vt.) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week Monday evening by the league offices. It is the second time this season a Raven has been chosen as top rookie by the NE10.

Sulejmani started and played in both games for the Ravens this past week. She averaged 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 40.9% (9-of-22) from the hardwood, 36.4% (4-of-11) from three-point land and was a perfect 6-for-6 (100%) at the charity stripe. Sulejmani matched a career-high 17 points at Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday while grabbing a personal-best nine rebounds and handed out three assists. At Adelphi on Saturday, she came up with a game and a career-high four steals.

The Ravens welcome the University of New Haven to campus for a 5:30 p.m. contest on Wednesday.
