Bio
Bill O'Connell heads into his sixth season as the defensive coordinator on the Franklin Pierce sprint football coaching staff in 2017. In addition to overseeing the defense, he will also work with the team's linebackers.
O'Connell has 18 years of football coaching experience, including serving six years as head coach at Monadnock Regional H.S. in Swanzey, N.H. He also served as head coach of the Monadnock Marauders of the New England Football League for four seasons.
In addition to coaching, O'Connell has been an elementary school teacher for 36 years. O'Connell resides in Keene, N.H. with his wife Kim.
