RINDGE, N.H. (April 28, 2013) -- The Franklin Pierce University softball team closed out its 2013 season on Sunday with a pair of tough losses to Merrimack at the FPU Softball Field in Rindge. The Warriors downed the Ravens, 5-0, in game one and then picked up a 12-0 win in five innings in game two. Franklin Pierce wrapped up its season at 9-31 overall and 6-23 in the Northeast-10 (5-16 Northeast Division), while Merrimack improved to 21-22-1 and 13-11-1 in league play (11-9-1 NE Div).

(April 27, 2013) -- The Franklin Pierce University softball team picked up a 5-1 win in game one of Saturday's doubleheader at Merrimack, but then dropped an 8-0 decision in five innings in game two as the teams split their twinbill at Warrior Diamond in North Andover, Mass. The Ravens moved to 9-29 overall and 6-22 in the Northeast-10 (5-15 Northeast Division), while the Warriors moved to 19-22-1 and 12-11-1 in league play (10-9-1 NE Div).

EASTON, Mass. (April 25, 2013) -- The Franklin Pierce University softball team was swept by Stonehill in a doubleheader on Thursday afternoon at Father Gartland Field in Easton, Mass. The Skyhawks outslugged the Ravens, 12-8, in game one and then trimmed Franklin Pierce, 6-1, in game two to complete the three-game season series sweep. Franklin Pierce fell to 8-28 overall and 5-21 in the Northeast-10 (4-14 Northeast Division), while Stonehill improved to 23-22-1 and 15-10-1 in league play (10-7-1 NE Div).

COLCHESTER, Vt. (April 24, 2013) -- The Franklin Pierce University softball team for the second time this season on Wednesday swept a doubleheader from Saint Michael's. Wednesday's satisfying sweep came on the road in Colchester, Vt., as the Ravens exploded late for a 5-1 win in game one and then clipped the Purple Knights, 2-1, in game two at Doc Jacobs Field. Franklin Pierce improved to 8-26 overall and 5-19 in the Northeast-10 (4-12 Northeast Division), while St. Mike's fell to 2-37 and 2-24 in league play (2-16 NE Div).

(April 17, 2013) -- The Franklin Pierce University softball team and Southern New Hampshire waged a solid pitcher's duel in Wednesday's doubleheader, but a couple of timely hits fell in the Penmen's favor as they picked up a doubleheader sweep at FPU Softball Field in Rindge. SNHU took a 2-0 decision in game one and had to battle hard in game two before pulling away late for a 5-0 victory.

St. A's won game one, 3-0, and then exploded for a 13-0 win in six innings in game two. The Ravens fell to 3-18 overall and 1-13 in the Northeast-10 (0-8 Northeast Division), while the Hawks improved to 14-13 and 11-5 in league play (8-0 NE Division).

(April 6, 2013) – The Franklin Pierce University softball team splits its doubleheader with Pace on Saturday as the Ravens opened the home portion of their 2013 schedule and snapped a nine-game losing streak in the process. The Ravens took game one by a 4-3 count, but dropped an 8-3 margin in game two at the FPU Softball Field in Rindge. Franklin Pierce moved to 3-12 (1-7 Northeast-10, 0-4 Northeast Division), while Pace moved to 10-9 (5-8 NE-10, 2-5 Southwest Division).
